Pangasius

Pangasius is a fast-growing, high-yield freshwater catfish that has become one of India's most economically significant aquaculture species. Originally popular in Vietnam's Mekong Delta, it has been widely adopted in India's Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, and Bihar. Its ability to tolerate high stocking densities and poor water quality makes it a resilient crop, while its mild white flesh appeals to both domestic and export markets.
